It has been brought to our attention that there is a small chance that after extensive use, the power cord may get worn around the controller guard which could present a risk of fire or electric shock. At OHS the safety of our customers is paramount, so as a precaution we are offering a free replacement controller to all customers who have purchased this item.
If you have bought one of these products and would like to receive a replacement controller
- Simply discard your existing controller and store the electric blanket away until your free replacement controller arrives

The safety of our customers is paramount. Online Home Shop is recalling the above products as they present a serious fire hazard and may not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 and the Plugs & Sockets (Safety) Regulations 1994. This means there is a risk that the product could catch fire and it may also pose a risk of electric shock.
If you have bought one of these products:
Unplug the electric blanket and stop using it immediately.
Return the product to us using a pre-paid label (see Q&A below for more details).
You will receive a full refund once we have received the returned item.
On 6th February 2022, we sent an email to all affected Online Home Shop customers which includes details on how to return the product for a full refund.
A full refund will be issued within 14 days once we have received the returned item.
