Valentines Day: Love Is Family

Love isn't just for couples. Style home products that all the family will love this Valentine's Day.

To celebrate the holiday, we created two romantic bedroom setups using OHS soft furnishings - one for adults and the other for children. And for the occasion, it was only apt to use our favourite interior colour combo which is, you guessed it, pink, grey and white!

What’s more Valentine appropriate than velvet love hearts? Nothing! So, upgrade the look of your bedroom instantly just in time for the 14th of Feb with the new embossed heart panel duvet cover from our Sienna Home collection. For our couples bedroom in the studio, we selected the charcoal colour to channel more sultry yet chic vibes.

The velvet band design on both the duvet cover and matching pillowcases is enough to stimulate your senses this season but not too much that you can’t use this duvet set all year round if you’d like. To complete the look, scatter a couple of tassel corner cushion covers from the Dreamscene range across your centrepiece. Made from heavy woven polyester, and embellished with tassel corners, these covers feature a plain thick weave design and a hidden zipper.

We’ve adorned this duvet set with one charcoal and one blush cushion to match the set and add a pretty pop of pink. For added depth, mix them with brighter and/or darker coloured covers as we have here with the Sienna faux Mongolian fur cushion covers in white.

For the kid’s room set up of our Valentines campaign, we again used our embossed velvet heart panel duvet cover but this time in the blush pink shade and single size.

When it comes to accessories, we’re majorly crushing on the crushed velvet cushion covers from our Sienna Home Collection this Valentine’s Day, especially the blush colour - obviously! They’re made from soft-touch polyester which means they are soft, comfortable and durable. Also, once they’re washed, they’ve got great resistance to shrinkage, fading and wrinkles.

As a finishing touch, keep your kiddiewinks starry-eyed by draping the Dreamscene star sherpa throw across the end of the bed.
