Over the past 5 years, OHS has experienced remarkable growth, and in the last 12 months alone, the workforce has doubled to 150 employees. With the new premises OHS anticipates further expansion and similar growth in the coming year, ensuring that the business continues to thrive and meet the increasing demands of its customers.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Chairman Max Cohen expressed his gratitude ‘I am proud to say that over the last six months we have doubled our staff numbers to just over 150. This is a significant achievement, not just for our company, but for the local community as well. By creating more jobs, we are helping to boost the local economy and provide opportunities for people to build their careers. We want to be the best in online retail, and we know we can only achieve this with our staff’s continued support and hard work.’
Andy Burnham, Mayor of Greater Manchester, congratulated OHS on its expansion, stating ‘It is great to be here today to hear about the incredible success you are achieving. You are a Greater Manchester success story, and it is right that I am here as Mayor of Greater Manchester to congratulate all of you.’
The Mayor also thanked OHS for its ongoing support to The Brick charity, the Mayor’s charity supporting local communities, helping distribute soft furnishings and on trend home and life products to children and families in need across Greater Manchester and beyond.
As the company looks forward to its 10th anniversary in February, it remains committed to providing unparalleled service and expanding its position as a leading Homewares provider in the market.
